The Museum of Folklore dolls are now on tour. We are delighted to see Penkevyll and Teazer on display

Would you like to get fitter and have fun? Join our feisty team as a Teazer, ‘Oss rider or a musician.

You would get to travel and take part in some fantastic folk festivals meeting interesting people as well as performing locally.

We practice occasionally in St Buryan village hall (6 miles from Penzance).

Contact us for further information.

As from 2015 Boekka decided not to continue with a separate Morris dance team as it was originally created by Rhys our founder member who has since moved away. We then reverted back to what Boekka was originally about, the Cornish tradition of ‘Oss and Teazers.

Penkevyll now makes fewer appearances as the ‘Oss skull and equipment are heavy and the wear and tear is greater when used many times a year. ‘Oses are built to appear a few times a year.
